AI for Academic Success: Tools, Ethics, and Best Practices In-Person

This dynamic workshop explores the emerging landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential applications for undergraduate research and coursework. You will gain an understanding of various AI tools available and learn to use them ethically and effectively for tasks like brainstorming ideas, conducting initial literature reviews, summarizing information, and enhancing your writing.

The session will also address the critical importance of academic integrity, responsible AI use, and the limitations of these technologies. You will learn to critically evaluate AI-generated content, differentiate it from your own work, and properly cite any instances where AI tools were used in accordance with university and course policies. The goal is to empower you to leverage AI's capabilities to streamline your academic processes while upholding the highest standards of scholarship and original thought.
